2022 HCUA, OAA and PAF Conference

Land of the Free, Home of the Brave, 2022 HCU Network America , Organic Acidemia Association and Propionic Acidemia Foundation Conference

HCU Network America, Organic Acidemia Association and Propionic Acidemia Foundation are excited to co-host the Land of the Free, Home of the Brave, 2022 HCU Network America, OAA and PAF Family Conference. This year’s joint conference will be held on June 25-26th, at the Marriott Bethesda, in Bethesda, MD. This event provides an opportunity for affected individuals, families and professionals to come together, share the most current information in research, medical care and family connections and support needed as they live day-to-day managing these rare metabolic disorders.

All attendees must be fully vaccinated as defined by the CDC at the time of the conference. Children under 5 will need to present a negative PCR dated no more than 3 days prior to conference, unless vaccine becomes available. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, The Organizations have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, The Organizations, cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19. In light of the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not engage in The Organizations events and/or other face to face activities. By attending the Land of the Free, Home of the Brave Conference (the “Event”)., you certify that you will not attend if you fall into any of the following categories: **Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others.” Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.

DUTY TO SELF-MONITOR: Participants and volunteers agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath) and, contact The Organizations at [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] if he/she experiences symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days after participating in the Event.
