Danae Bartke is a leader and advocate in the rare disease community, serving as a key figure at HCU Network America, as Executive Director. She is dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by homocystinuria (HCU) and related metabolic disorders, working to expand education, resources, and access to care. Through her leadership, Danae helps foster collaboration between patients, clinicians, researchers, and industry partners to advance awareness, improve outcomes, and drive progress toward better treatments for those living with rare metabolic conditions, which she understands intimately as a patient with classical HCU herself.
