Bio

Dr. Jessica Gold is a board-certified medical geneticist with dual training in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Chicago and a fellowship in Clinical and Biochemical Genetics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She now serves as Section Chief of Biochemical Genetics at Northwell Health and Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where she also directs Newborn Screening efforts. Dr. Gold’s research and clinical work focus on improving healthcare transition and reproductive care for adolescents and adults with inherited metabolic disorders. She’s been recognized as a National Academy of Medicine Scholar in Diagnostic Excellence and is leading impactful work on genomic testing in adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
